After 8 years Change has come in the White House in more ways than one. The power has shifted from Republicans to Democrats and for the first time ever in the history of the USA we will now have a black president. If the battle cry of Change can work for Barack Obama, than maybe this might help the Magic as well.

Something is wrong and change must come! We're only halfway through the first month of the season and the Magic are playing as if they are fine tuning the lineup for the playoffs by only having an 8 player rotation! On a team with 15 players only 8 can play?!?! Something must change because the whole season cannot go on like this. We need change, not more of the same.

Mike Wilks is out for the season due to injury, but he wasn't gonna get much minutes anyway, Lee is a rookie, and Brian Cook is out of shape and on Van Gundy's bad side. What about Foyle? He's no Tony Battie, but he didn't do too bad last season, and there's Gortat. Up until the season started the Magic showed much confidence in Gortat but now he's MIA, and correct me if I'm wrong but is there a player named Jeremy Richardson on the team? If there is I wouldn't know from the looks of it. The Magic also has the chronicles of Redick! JJ that is. Even with his Van Diesel like upgrades and defense improvements this past summer JJ's stuck back on the bench once again. Yeah he sucked in the first two games but why can't he get another chance? We need change, not more of the same.

The problem with an 8 man rotation is that those 8 men will have nothing left for the playoffs if they can last that long. One of two things need to happen real soon or a combination of both, either Van Gungy learns to trust his players more, or trades need to take place to add the kind of depth that a real playoffs team needs to have. We need change not more of the same.

Right now the Kings are regretting ever giving us Hedo, and JJ Redick along with Cook can be sold as pure shooters, which is something that the league still covets. Once again something must be done. We need change, not more of the same.

Sure the Magic just routed the OK Thunder and it was an easy choice to have all available players get in that game, but what about the more serious teams? Otis Smith has been known to not make moves based on panic and maybe I am panicking at this time, but this has to be a concern for Otis right now because as this team currently stands we cannot hope to make it past the second round of the playoffs. So just like Obama said, “Change must come”. We need change, not more of the same.
